Seminar: Mathematics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence (AI) and the sciences share a rich and constantly evolving relationship, opening up unprecedented opportunities for research. What are its practical applications in research? And, in turn, how do the sciences inspire the development of AI?

To explore these questions, we are launching a new series of seminars dedicated to AI for the Sciences.

The first seminar will take place on Thursday 26 March 2026 at 11am in the main lecture theatre of Building A.

For this first event, Gérard Biau, Director of the Sorbonne Centre for Artificial Intelligence.
