New perspectives on holocaust studies

UNIVERSITY OF CAEN NORMANDY – CAEN MEMORIAL

The University of Caen, as part of its major Plan Investissement Avenir program “Excellence in Research,” led by the MRSH for the Humanities

and Social Sciences, has established a Chair of Excellence in Holocaust and Genocide Studies. On April 1-2, 2025, the Chair will bring together

members of international institutions working on the Holocaust to discuss new research perspectives. At a time when the last survivors

are disappearing and digital humanities are expanding, new knowledge challenges are emerging. The goal of the workshop is to create

a dynamic research environment on the Holocaust and to build networks of researchers, archives, knowledge, and tools.
