International spring school and workshop on thermoelectrics
From April 19, 2027 to April 23, 2027
This summer school organized by CRISMAT Laboratory will take place in Caen from April 19 to April 23. This event is primarily intended for early-career researchers, postdoctoral fellows, PhD and master students who wish to acquire a solid foundation of knowledge on the topic of energy conversion via thermoelectric effects. The school will serve as a forum for meaningful exchanges between experts in the field and newcomers.
The school will feature a series of presentations by renowned researchers from French, European, and international research institutes (India, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, the EU, etc.) on the various topics covered by thermoelectricity: fundamentals of thermoelectricity, critical reviews of different thermoelectric materials, electron and phonon transport, crystal chemistry, theoretical calculations, artificial intelligence…
In addition to the lectures, participants will have the opportunity to present their own research through flash oral presentations and poster sessions, fostering scientific discussions and networking opportunities.
